  • Projects are the buildings on your map. They keep their brief, chat, activity, results, and recurring tasks together. A building goes up while the work happens and celebrates the first time it finishes. Some buildings show their job at a glance, such as a tank’s water level or a market line, and a building on fire is showing a failed job.
  • AI agents are the characters working on a project. Their state shows whether they are working, waiting, ready with a result, or need attention.
  • Agent connections determine where an AI agent runs. AgentVille includes a built-in Cloud agent with Computer and browser access, so you can start without installing anything. You can also connect ChatGPT locally through the Codex CLI, or connect Claude Code, from your own computer. These are optional agent connections; plugins are the separate apps and services an agent can use.
  • The composer is the quickest way to send a first request or a follow-up. Its scope shows whether you are talking to a project or an individual AI agent, and its agent control shows where the work runs and its permissions, such as “Cloud · Manual”.
  • Needs you means an AI agent is waiting for an answer, permission, or connection before it can continue.
  • Inbox collects what needs you, what is ready, and what is paused. It says All caught up when nothing is waiting.
The map is the overview; the project panel is the record. Open Projects to find any project or earlier chat. Select a project to see About this project, its chat, Activity, and Outputs. Results stay in that project, so later work can start from the relevant context instead of a blank conversation.
