# A project or AI agent looks stuck

> What to check when work stops moving, from Needs you to steering a busy AI agent.

1. Select the project or AI agent and read its latest activity and conversation.
2. Look for **Needs you**, or open **Inbox**. It means the AI agent is waiting for an answer, an approval, or a connection.
3. Open the decision card. Answer the question, approve only the action you want, or decline it and send a clearer follow-up.
4. If the AI agent is busy and your message shows **Queued**, choose **Steer now** to redirect it.
5. If the AI agent is not waiting but the result is incomplete, send a focused follow-up that describes the missing outcome.

Do not create a second project just to repeat the request. The original project retains the relevant work and is the best place to continue.
