# A published app does not open

> Check who can open a published app and how invites and sign-in requirements work.

Open the app's sharing settings and check **Who can open this app**.

* **Private** apps open only for you.
* **Invite only** apps open for the people you invited, and they must sign in with the exact email you invited. An app can have up to 50 invited people.
* **Public** apps open for anyone with the link, unless **Require sign-in** is on.

Guests cannot publish. Sign in first, then choose **Publish** on the result card. Your published apps and shared links are listed under **Settings → Published & shared**; a link you stopped sharing no longer works.
