# Talk to the Familiar

> Talk to AgentVille by voice: check on projects, answer approvals, and hand off work.

The Familiar is AgentVille's voice companion. Choose **Talk** to start a voice conversation: ask how AgentVille works, check on your projects, answer approvals out loud, manage recurring tasks, or hand off new work to an AI agent.

The Familiar can speak multiple supported languages. A voice session starts in the first supported language from your browser's language preferences, falls back to English when none is supported, and can switch when it detects that you are speaking another supported language. Say stop, end, or hang up to finish the call.

You can also **Dictate** into the composer and have answers read aloud. Voice controls appear only when they are enabled for your account and remaining voice allowance is available; Settings shows how much dictation and read-aloud allowance is left.
