# Keyboard shortcuts

> Jump between AI agents that need you, find projects and chats, and close surfaces from the keyboard.

Shortcuts stay out of text fields and blocking dialogs, so they do not interrupt a message or a protected action. On macOS, use Option and Command where other platforms use Alt and Control.

* **Next agent needing attention:** `Option/Alt + Down arrow`.
* **Previous agent needing attention:** `Option/Alt + Up arrow`.
* **Find projects and chats:** `Command/Control + K`.
* **Open this shortcut guide:** `Command/Control + /`.
* **Close the current surface or clear the map selection:** `Escape`.
